All around the world, education is undergoing reform. The superficial reasons are as varied as the countries in which reform is occurring - cultural and political changes, emerging technologies, a surge in wealth… However, the fundamental reason does not vary - parents and the governments that serve them believe the quality of their children’s education will determine their future and they naturally want that education to be the best it can be. Cognition Education is working on education reform with governments and organisations in a number of countries, helping to develop solutions that meet their needs and implementing these solutions. Over the last two decades we have worked throughout the world on a wide variety of projects. This experience has given us insight into many cultures and an understanding of how to work with local education communities to ensure the best outcomes. We have become a major international supplier in the education sector and have supported the establishment of nearly 100 schools in the Gulf States. This year we are working directly with more than 130 schools (including kindergarten, primary and secondary levels), and our staff work on a daily basis with more than 1500 teachers. In 2009-2010, we will have a direct impact on some 50,000 students in the Gulf States. |
