Cognition Education, on behalf of the Ministry of Education, will again be conducting a round of regional symposia following the successful 2010 series. The purpose of the 12 regional symposia is to support the provision of gifted and talented education within our New Zealand Schools.
There will be a selection of local presenters sharing successful gifted and talented programmes and practices. The symposium is aimed at those involved in gifted and talented education including parents and teachers from early childhood through to secondary school.
Places are limited in each of the twelve regional symposia so pencil the date in your diary for your region now and ensure that you notify your networks of this upcoming all day free event.
The table below shows when registrations open – you will be notified of the programme outline after you have registered. Please note:
-
Auckland North Symposium is targeted at the secondary school level.
-
Auckland South Symposium is targeted at the primary/intermediate level.
Click on the region name shown in the table to access the information page for each symposium. Locations will be added as registrations open.
