Dr Phil Coogan is a well-respected educator with a background in secondary school English teaching, teacher education and teacher professional development. He has been a Commonwealth Fellow, president of the NZ Association of Teachers of English and is an associate of the University of London Institute of Education.

Phil is Cognition’s consultancy operations manager with responsibility for a range of New Zealand and off-shore projects covering e learning, curriculum development, teacher professional development, governance support, online communities for teachers, gifted and talented education and school design.
