Patricia Vermillion Peirce, BA, MA, MPhil, PhD Patricia has designed and implemented research and evaluation programmes in universities in New Zealand, England, Japan and the Netherlands, and as well for both the public and private sector within New Zealand and Malaysia. Patricia's experience covers evaluation planning, facilitation and model development, as well as quantitative and qualitative sampling, tool design and analysis. She has also taught evaluation to public sector employees in Qatar, in addition to both graduate and undergraduate courses in research design. In addition to leading the data analysis team at Cognition, Patricia is also currently working on several evaluations, including the Ax-Factor education programme (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia), a needs analysis for the Ax-Factor secondary curriculum development (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia), the Gifted and Talented Education targeted initiative (Auckland, NZ), the workforce development needs of Health Promoting Schools facilitators (across New Zealand), the Supported Playgroups pilot (Auckland, NZ), and the achievement of Refugee students in New Zealand (Auckland, NZ) Patricia is a member of the Australasian Evaluation Society, and currently serves as a research reviewer for the academic research journal System. |
