Professor John Hattie, senior research consultant for Cognition Education’s Visible Learning Plus programme, presented a keynote address at the Standards and Assessment Summit in Denver this week. The conference was organised by The Leadership and Learning Centre and focused on the latest research and replicable practices used by high achieving schools. It also gave participants practical strategies to lead and sustain improvement in the classroom, building, and district. Cognition’s Visible Learning work was well received at the conference and developments for new workshops and training to support educators to understand and apply the concepts are underway.
