Cognition Education provides professional support and development services to teachers, school leaders, schools and public and private agencies in New Zealand and internationally.

Our customised support is based on research and evidence of what makes the most significant difference to student outcomes.

We offer:

• Schooling improvement design and implementation at a national, district and school level
• Individualised consultations and professional learning programmes with flexible content and format
• Customised workshops and seminars
• Support to analyse and use student achievement data
• Developing print and digital learning resources
• Educational website development, including the development networked learning communities

We have a highly skilled and experienced team of education professionals that includes facilitators, trainers, data analysts and researchers. Most of our people have backgrounds in primary, secondary, or early  years education.

Some examples of our professional support and development services include:

• Coordinating the Pegasus schooling improvement cluster in Christchurch and supporting them to collect, collate and analyse student achievement data at a school and cluster level.
• Providing intensive school-based professional learning to approximately 1600 teachers and school leaders in 24 schools in Abu Dhabi
• Developing the Ministry of Education’s websites, English Online, Literacy Online, ESOL Online and Arts Online
• Providing national training on Gifted and Talented Education for teachers and school leaders across New Zealand
